About Me
Amari K. Jones is an Atlanta native and a current student at The Savannah College of Arts & Design. She is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts with a double minoring in Film & Television and Casting. Gratefully, She has been an actress in different screenplays and film productions. When Amari was 16, her acting ability allowed her to secure the role of Hillary in BET’S The Quad. In The Quad, Amari appeared in 3 out of 10 episodes where she played an HBCU college student speaking up for a rape victim on campus. She then starred in A Short Film Entited Exposure, which became the official selection of the following film festivals: Montreal Independent, Visibility, and Venice Shorts.
Amari's ultimate career goal is to write, direct, and produce her own movies and television series. In addition, she desires to bring more minority representation to the film industry and develop a company that exposes minority and first-generation students to media arts in the entertainment career field.
